Who we are
Ticket Finder UK is the data controller for the personal data described in this notice. We are based in Milton Keynes, United Kingdom. You can reach us about anything in this policy, including data protection requests, at hello@ticketfinderuk.co.uk.
What we collect
- Email address — when you unlock search results or contact us.
- Search inputs — the postcode area, keyword, date and filters you enter. We use the first part of a postcode to estimate distance; we do not ask for your full address.
- Enquiry details — name, email and message when promoters submit an event or you contact us.
- Usage data — pages viewed, events clicked, approximate location, device and browser type, collected through Google Analytics 4 only if you accept analytics cookies.
- Account data — email and hashed password for the small number of admin accounts that manage listings.
Why we use it, and our lawful basis
- Providing search and listings — legitimate interests, to deliver the service you asked for.
- Email capture and any event updates we send — consent, which you can withdraw at any time by emailing us.
- Analytics and measuring affiliate clicks — consent, given through our cookie banner.
- Security, fraud prevention and legal obligations — legitimate interests and legal obligation.
Third parties and data processors
We keep our supplier list short and use reputable providers. We do not sell your personal data to anyone, ever, and we do not share it for third-party advertising.
- Supabase — our hosted database and authentication provider, storing event listings, captured emails and admin accounts.
- Ticketmaster Discovery API, Eventbrite API, Skiddle API, Fatsoma API and Bandsintown API — we pull public event listings from these services. Your personal data is not sent to them by our search; when you click through to buy, that seller becomes the controller of the data you give them.
- Google Analytics 4 (Google Ireland Ltd) — analytics, loaded only with your consent, with IP anonymisation enabled.
- Google Maps and Places — used to display nearby venues on results maps.
- Our hosting provider — serves the website and processes standard server logs.
Some providers may process data outside the UK. Where that happens, transfers rely on the UK International Data Transfer Addendum, UK Adequacy Regulations or equivalent safeguards.
